One of our drilling rigs was mobilized on the west coast of Madagascar for drilling and installation of hand pumps in remote villages in the region of Morondava.
BushProof just completed the construction of a solar-powered water supply pumping system for the distribution of 100 m3 per day in a commune in south-eastern Madagascar. The water is rich in iron, so a treatment system using aeration and filtration has been set up which can treat 10 m3 per hour.
We have just started drilling with our new rig in the West. Great machine! We will stay 02 months and then continue along the route to Morondava for other borehole installations.
We’ve just successfully completed the second session this year of our one-week Technical Training in Water & Sanitation Infrastructure. We welcomed 16 participants from around the world and it was a very productive training. The next session will be held the 13 -18th of January 2014. Come visit us!
We’ve just achieved the realisation of 250 manual boreholes equiped with Canzee pumps around Mananara-Avaratra in the Northeast of Madagascar. This has been a two year contract with Catholic Relief Services and USAID.
We’ve built a 3 kW solar pumping system and it’s the last of a series of similar systems in the Southeast of Madagascar. The pump takes water from a borehole and delivers 30 m3/day for the community. An innovative treatement plant (retro-filter) has been built to remove high iron concentration in the water.
